How to get back into a good work routine

So many people are still off on furlough or are still working from home. This means that for many, work life has been somewhat disrupted for well over 12 months now and when the time does come to return to work or to a usually working pattern it may b every difficult to adjust. Some people are already feeling anxious about the return to work. It may be that you have got quiet used to working from home on your own and are worried about getting back in to working with others. It may be that you are worried about catching Covid or about how everyone is going to treat each other.

Almost everyone that has suffered a disruption to their work life will have some concerns but the best way to deal with them is to face them. You could also talk to your employer about a phased return (which many are going to offer anyway) where you will work from home some days and then work from the office. This may be gradually built up over time to allow you to get used to a new normal again. You may find that you have the opportunity to continue working remotely long term if this is something that can be done easily.
